Boston Open draws released
The draws for the 2021 Boston Open are now available. Running from 10-12th December, this is the 24th edition of the event, and despite clashes with a number of other high profile events around the UK and Europe meaning entry numbers are down on the record-breaking 2019, we're delighted to be welcoming a number of world class players to Rosebery Avenue.
The men's event is led by world #33 and England #4 Declan James, from Nottingham. He is seeded to face world #91 Joe Lee in the final, Joe being the defending champion from the 2019 event. Ben Smith and Harry Falconer - both hailing from Lincolnshire - are both 3/4 seeds, being ranked 132 and 171 in the world respectively.
Meanwhile in the women's event, world #35 and England #5 Julianne Courtice is top seed. Five times champion and world #63 Millie Tomlinson is #2 seed, making her return to competitive squash after an injury break. Completing the seedings in the women's event are Lincolnshire's own Katie Wells (world #127) and Yorkshire's Polly Clark (world #166).
Entry to the whole event is FREE, with matches taking place as follows:
Friday 10th December: Men's qualifiers and round of 16 - from 6pm
Saturday 11th December: Women's and men's quarter finals from 11am; semi finals from 4.30pm.
Sunday 12th December: Women's final 1pm; men's final 2pm.
