Chairman's update: subs 2021/22
Chairman Mark Hildred has issued the following update ahead of the forthcoming season, with subscription renewals due from 1st October.
Dear Member,
I would like to update you ahead of the new season and subscription renewal date, which is 1st
October. Subs can be paid throughout October.

To compensate those members who paid in full for 2020/21 when the club was subject to closure for many months , we have decided that the subscription rate be set at 1/3 the normal rate for 2021/22. This only applies to those members who paid in full for last year.
To summarise this means the subs are as follows:
 | Normal price | Monthly payment option (12x payments) | Reduced rate - available for those who paid 20/21 subs in full |
---|---|---|---|
Individual | £150 | £13.75 | £50 |
Couple | £240 | £22 | £80 |
Family | £260 | £24 | £87 |
Student (16+ in full time education) | £55 | n/a | £19 |
Junior | £35 | n/a | £12 |
Subscriptions can be paid via our online membership system or in person to our club steward, Pete Andrews. (Note: we are currently finalising the online system for this October’s subs – online renewal will become available over the coming weekend).
The prices of tokens remains unchanged at £2.30.
We hope you all feel this is a very fair subscription in light of the lost time in the last 18 months but also see it as good value, given the huge investment in our facilities in the last year. We now have five courts in excellent condition and upgraded heaters on the glassbacks, with some of the best playing facilities in the region.

We have also invested heavily in our changing rooms/showers, gym and bar. You can view more images of the upgrades around the club on the Facilities page.
We would like to warmly invite those of you who may not yet have got back into 'the habit' of playing to come down the club, to have a look around the upgraded facilities, and then hopefully decide to rejoin.
I would like to thank Pete for all his efforts during this last extremely difficult year and also a huge thank you to John Payne, for all his voluntary hard work in making sure the club is in the best condition it has been in for many years.
Competitive squash/racketball is back
Competitive squash at all levels can now resume and we look forward to the resumption of many events during the coming season. We have entered two squash teams in Lincolnshire Leagues for the forthcoming season (which are making a welcome return to five-man teams), as well as one in the racketball league, and would like to wish both every bit of luck for the season ahead.
One particular date for your diary is the resumption of our annual professional PSA satellite event from 10-12th December, which promises once again to bring top quality professional squash to our town.
Notice of AGM
The Annual General Meeting has been set for Monday 6th December at 7.30pm in the club bar.
I wish you a happy and hopefully uninterrupted 21/22 season.
Best wishes
Mark Hildred
Chairman
